KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is a great form of self defence, especially when combined with the other martial arts that we incorporate into our syllabus..
BOXING
Although it is limited to punching, there are still a wide variety of strikes and blocks to learn. These include jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts.
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
Our syllabus teaches our students a self defence system that avoids the person been taken to the ground. However, we also teach you what to do if that does happen so you are always able to defend yourself.
JUDO
Our black belt Judo Instructor will teach you the most effective elements of this Japanese martial art. Whilst historically an unarmed combat system is has been modified over the years and know fits very well into our modern self defence system.
WEAPON DEFENCE
Sadly the use of weapons, and particularly knife crime, has seen an increase over the years.We combine the best elements from a range of martial arts to develop a highly effective form of weapons defence.
TAEKWONDO
There are a wide variety of kicks and students improve their technique and flexibility to be able to do more complicated moves such as jumping, spinning, and head height kicks.
KARATE
Our Karate black belt instructors are masters in this ancient martial art.Karate is very much a striking martial art and forms part of our self defence syllabus as you need to know how to strike to keep yourself safe.It includes punches, knee strikes, elbows and kicks.
SPARRING
Sparring is great exercise, good fun, and a highly effective way to prepare that person for a much more real world scenario of self defence.
